Product Profile - Hair Gel

This medium-hold hair gel is nourishing for your hair and scalp. The beeswax provides the ‘hold,’ while the shea butter and jojoba oil has a conditioning affect on your hair and scalp. The refreshing and enlivening scent comes from a combination of rosemary and peppermint essential oils.

Sometimes waxy granules can form in this product. This is a natural characteristic of this hair gel. If this occurs, rub/warm the gel in your hands until the granules melt, and then apply to your hair and style as desired.

Natural Qualities: Sometimes my hair seems to have it’s own mind and just doesn’t want to behave! When this happens, hair gel or wax is a useful addition to the toiletries cabinet. I’ve used many commercial products over the years and some have been very good. But like so many commercial products, the long list of unpronounceable ingredients is off-putting and concerning. If I can’t pronounce the name of an ingredient, do I really want to put it on my body? The nirāmaya all-natural hair gel is made from three simple ingredients: beeswax, shea butter, and jojoba oil. The beeswax gives the hair gel its hold. The shea butter and jojoba oil give the hair gel a nice, smooth consistency and helps to moisturize the hair while keeping it styled. One of the nice things about this product is that it does hold throughout the entire day, whereas my experience has been that many commercial products lose their hold as the day unfolds (no pun intended).
